Your AI Spanish tutor, inside a real course

An AI partner that speaks Spain's Spanish at your level, accepts Latin American Spanish from you, and explains ser and estar, por and para or the subjunctive when you trip over them. It sits inside a free 158-lesson course from A0 to C2.

What a conversation looks like

An example at A2. In the app, corrections stay hidden under your message until you tap them.

¡Hola, Sam! ¿Qué tal el fin de semana en Valencia?

¡Muy bien! Fui a la playa y comí una paella muy bueno.

✏️ Correctionsuna paella muy bueno → una paella muy buena: the adjective agrees with a feminine noun · lesson: Adjectives agree and usually follow the noun

¡Qué rico! ¿Y con quién fuiste a la playa?

How it speaks at each level

Everything the AI does in SparkAI

Conversation partner

Talk about your plans, your family or the news, in Spanish pitched at your level. Corrections fold away under your message until you open them.

Role-play real situations

Order tapas, check into a hostal, see a doctor, negotiate a salary: scenarios from A0 to C1, with the AI playing the other person.

Correct my writing

Paste a message to a landlord or a paragraph for class, and get the mistakes marked with the right form and why.

Ask about grammar

Ser or estar here? Why quiero que vengas and not vienes? Ask in English or Spanish.

Why was I wrong?

When you miss a question in a lesson, the AI explains that particular mistake in plain English, beside the lesson's rule.

Stories written for you

Pick a topic and the AI writes a short Spanish story at your level, with tap-to-translate.

Pronunciation coaching

Read a sentence aloud and get advice on the sounds to practise, such as the tapped r or the pure vowels, from what the recogniser heard.

Mistakes come back in review

When the AI corrects you, the correction is tied to the grammar lesson that covers it. If you've already done that lesson, it moves back into today's review, so a slip with ser and estar in a chat brings the ser and estar questions back in your next review.

Limits

AI features are free with 150 messages a day; lessons, flashcards and reading have no limit. The AI is sometimes wrong, so the written lessons settle any disagreement. Pronunciation coaching works from what your browser's speech recognition heard, which is not a teacher's ear. To start talking, see Spanish conversation practice.

Questions

Can you learn Spanish with AI?

You can practise a great deal with it: conversation at any hour, ser and estar explained the moment you need it, corrections on what you write. Learning the system in order is still the course's job, which is why SparkAI puts the AI inside one.

Is there a free AI Spanish tutor?

Yes. The conversation partner, writing corrections and mistake explanations are free, up to 150 AI messages a day. Three prompts work without an account; then sign up free.

Does the AI accept Latin American Spanish?

Yes. It knows you're learning Spain's Spanish by default and never marks a Latin American form as a mistake: ustedes for vosotros, voseo, and words like computadora or celular are all fine.

Can a complete beginner use it?

Yes. At A0 it keeps to very short sentences and offers answers you can copy. You can also write in English and it will show you how to say it in simple Spanish.

Does the AI make mistakes?

Sometimes, like any AI. The 158 grammar lessons are written separately, and they are the reference when the two disagree.

Are conversations private?

Conversations are stored with your progress, on your device and in your account if you have one. To answer, messages are sent to our AI provider, which processes them only to produce the reply. SparkAI doesn't sell your data or use it to train AI models.
