Practise Spanish conversation with an AI partner
Order a café con leche, view a flat to share, appeal a parking fine at the town hall: 23 role-plays set in Spain, from A0 to C1. The AI speaks Spain's Spanish, vosotros included, and accepts Latin American Spanish from you.
A role-play at A1: tapas in a bar
¡Buenas! ¿Qué te pongo?
Una caña y unas bravas, por favor. ¿La terraza es llena?
Sí, ahora mismo está llena, pero en la barra hay sitio.
What Spanish learners get corrected on
- Ser and estar: estoy cansado for how you feel, soy inglés for what you are.
- Por and para: gracias por todo, but un regalo para ti.
- Gustar back to front: me gustan los perros, where the dogs are the subject.
- Preterite or imperfect: llovía for the background, llegó for what happened.
- The subjunctive after a wish: quiero que vengas, not que vienes.
Corrections are linked to the lesson that covers them, and a lesson you have already studied is put back into today's review.
Spain by default, Latin America welcome
The scenes are set in Spain, and the AI speaks Castilian Spanish: it uses vosotros, and the present perfect for things that happened today (hoy he comido paella). You don't have to copy it: ustedes for every plural you, the preterite for today, seseo, voseo and words like computadora are all correct.

Questions
How can I practise speaking Spanish without a partner?
Start with the scenes for your level: ordering tapas or checking into a hostal at A1, returning a faulty phone at B1. Speak into the microphone if your browser supports it, or type. Between chats, read sentences aloud in Speak to work on the tapped r and the pure vowels.
Is there a free AI to practise Spanish conversation?
Yes. You get 150 AI messages a day; the first three work without an account, then a free account is needed.
Will the AI correct my mistakes?
When you ask it to. Corrections sit folded under your message, so a slip with ser and estar doesn't stop the scene. If you learned Spanish in Mexico or Argentina, ustedes, voseo and words like carro or celular are accepted as correct.
Is AI practice as good as a real tutor?
Not quite. A tutor from Seville or Bogotá will catch things in your accent and your choices that the AI misses. The AI suits the daily practice in between: it waits while you look up a word, and it doesn't mind the same scene five times.
