At C2 the AI partner works as a demanding conversation partner and editor: it discusses anything with you and comments on style, not just correctness. The AI also explains any wrong answer in a lesson, in plain English. It's included free, with a daily allowance; like any AI it can make mistakes, so the lessons remain the reference. Questions
How long does it take to reach C2 in German?
About 1,100 hours from zero by an approximate CEFR guided-hours estimate (not specific to German), much of it spent reading and listening to real German.
Is C2 the same as native level?
No, and it doesn't need to be. C2 means you understand nearly everything and express fine shades of meaning; an accent, or the odd word a native wouldn't choose, can remain.
Can an app teach C2 German?
An app can cover C2 grammar (literary tenses, complex sentences, compound words) and give you texts at that level. The rest comes from German books, films, radio and conversation.
