The three exercises

Exercise 1 (9 points): one long document (a talk, lecture, documentary, speech or radio programme), played twice.
Exercise 2 (9 points): another long document, played twice.
Exercise 3 (7 points): 3 short documents (an interview, a news bulletin, a short report), each played once.

How to work on it

Use the reading time before each recording: the questions tell you what to listen for.
On the first listening of a long document, follow the speaker's line of argument; on the second, check the answers you weren't sure of.
For the short documents you only get one listening: note the speaker's main point and tone as you go.
