How it runs

Timed by the server: each section has its exam time, and the clock keeps running if you reload or close the page. Answers are saved as you go.
Listening as in the exam: each recording plays the number of times the exam allows, counted by the server, and the transcripts appear only after you submit.
Speaking with an AI examiner: you draw two subjects, choose one, prepare, record your presentation, then answer the examiner's questions out loud.

How it's marked

Reading and listening are marked against the answer key as soon as you finish a section, with an explanation for each question. Writing and speaking are graded by an AI on the official 2022 grids, criterion by criterion, quoting your own words, and shown as a range. The overall result uses the official rule: at least 50 out of 100, with no section under 5. See the pass mark.

About 2.5 hours for listening, reading and writing (as in the exam, where they're taken together), plus the speaking test: 30 minutes of preparation and up to 20 minutes of speaking. You can stop between sections and come back.

How are the results given?

Reading and listening are marked straight away against the answer key. Writing and speaking are graded by an AI on the official 2022 grids and shown as a range, not one mark, because those grades haven't yet been checked against human examiners. The result applies the official rule: at least 50/100 overall and 5/25 in every section.
